Home to the historic carousel and the Pacific Park amusement park and the famous Third Street Promenade.
About 8 square miles in size, Santa Monica is home to a beautiful coastline featuring parks, art galleries, theaters, shopping centers and many restaurants. Excellent public transportation makes every area easily accessible and bike trails offer outdoor recreation.
Santa Monica is eight miles north of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and a short drive from Marina Del Rey, West Los Angeles and Pacific Palisades.
